PHILOSOPHY
An ember is the quiet glow that remains after a fire has burned low — the small spark capable of reigniting warmth and light. Re-ember reflects the belief that even when relationships feel strained or distant, the potential for connection and renewal is still there.
Re-Ember was founded on the belief that the strength of a family begins with the connection between its parents. The early parenting years bring profound change—new roles, new responsibilities, and often a level of exhaustion that can quietly erode the closeness couples once felt. Many partners find themselves feeling more like teammates managing logistics than the couple they used to be.
At Re-Ember, therapy focuses on protecting and rebuilding that connection. Using research-informed couples therapy, we help partners understand the patterns shaping their relationship and develop the skills that allow intimacy, trust, and teamwork to grow during this new stage of life.
Because when the couple relationship remains strong, the entire family system benefits.

Experience
Sinah’s training has focused on working with couples navigating the transition to parenthood. During this season, partners often experience shifts in identity, expectations, and daily rhythms that can strain even strong relationships.
In my work, I draw from Gottman-informed relationship tools, Solution-Focused therapy, and a systemic perspective to help couples reconnect, communicate more effectively, and build a strong foundation for their growing family.
Early Parenthood & Postpartum
Supporting new parents as they navigate emotional regulation, relationship changes, and evolving roles during the postpartum period and early parenthood. Therapy focuses on building stability, connection, and clarity during this foundational stage.
Pregnancy & Transition to Parenthood
Working with couples who are preparing for parenthood, addressing anxiety, uncertainty, and relational shifts that arise during pregnancy and the anticipation of early parenthood.
Couple Relationship Adjustment
Supporting couples in understanding communication patterns and emotional dynamics as their relationship evolves in preparation for, or following, the transition into parenthood.
