Experience

The connection between parents

Re-Ember was founded on the belief that the strength of a family begins with the connection between its parents. The early parenting years bring profound change—new roles, new responsibilities, and often a level of exhaustion that can quietly erode the closeness couples once felt. Many partners find themselves feeling more like teammates managing logistics than the couple they used to be.

Because when the couple relationship remains strong, the entire family system benefits.

The work

Understanding what is changing

Rather than focusing on “fixing” problems, Re-Ember’s work centers on helping parents understand what is changing, how it is affecting their relationship, and how to move forward with greater steadiness and connection as a family begins to take shape.

Sessions are collaborative, structured, and paced to meet parents where they are—acknowledging the intensity of early parenthood while creating space for reflection, clarity, and support.

Pregnant & postpartum

I work with both pregnant and postpartum clients. Beginning therapy during pregnancy can often make the postpartum transition feel more supported and less overwhelming.

Support during early parenthood doesn’t require having everything figured out.

Re-Ember offers a steady place to pause, reflect, and consider what support might look like for you and your family. Sessions available in English and Spanish.
